About

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have experience treating a diverse clientele with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, relationship concerns including marital and/or family issues, and grief and loss. I also enjoy working with women struggling with infertility, parenting concerns, and overall burnout.

I have extensive training in the field of eating disorders, having worked on the Eating Disorder Team at Columbia University’s Counseling Center and also eating disorder residential treatment programs in New York and Boston.  I have also helped prenatal, postnatal, and menopausal women navigate the changes in their bodies with greater kindness and balanced care.

I have training in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and I utilize interventions from these various theoretical approaches depending on the client’s unique circumstance.  All of these theoretical orientations have been well researched and are considered effective in treating a range of diagnoses.

As a former Boston College women’s lacrosse player, I have an interest in working with adolescent and adult athletes as they cope with the stress and pressure surrounding the athletic experience.
