Philosophy

My practice is dedicated to helping people live in a more balanced, connected, and joyful way.  I believe the therapeutic journey should be anchored in developing a strong sense of self through compassionate and practiced introspection. By gaining insight and connection to oneself, one has the capacity to develop greater connectedness with others.  

To identify therapeutic goals, I work collaboratively with my clients.  Together, we will explore your current situation, work to understand the context and history, and apply specific tools to better navigate through the difficulties.  We will identify and confront underlying fears and barriers that prevent you from living with greater satisfaction and enjoyment in life.  We will also learn ways to manage painful emotions by engaging healthy coping mechanisms.
